Terms can change before they are locked

The calculation on the site reflects the direction's current terms and can update: it depends on the receiving method, liquidity, how loaded the direction is, and the amount.

Once the calculation is confirmed, the terms are held for the limited time shown on screen. When that time has passed, current terms apply — and the final amount may differ from the one you saw earlier.

Market risk

The rates of digital assets and currencies move independently of the service. Between the moment you look at a calculation and the moment terms are locked, a rate can move either way.

Technology risk

• A blockchain transfer can be delayed by congestion on the network itself.
• Payment systems have their own checks, limits and delays, which the service does not control.
• Using the wrong network — sending an asset over a network the direction does not support — can result in the loss of funds.

Checks may apply

Some requests are reviewed, and that can affect how long an exchange takes. Where a check cannot be completed, an exchange may not go ahead. The grounds are set out in the AML/KYC policy.

Timing

The estimated time depends on the direction and the receiving method, and is shown in the calculation and on the direction page. It is an estimate rather than a guaranteed deadline: checks, networks and payment systems all affect it.

You check the payment details

The wallet address, card number and other receiving details are entered by you. Check them carefully before a transfer: once money has been sent to the wrong details, it usually cannot be recovered — and that does not depend on the service.

What the service does to reduce risk

• Shows the final amount before a request is created, not after.
• Holds the terms for a limited time and shows how much of it is left.
• Gives the request a number it can be found and discussed by.
• Warns about possible checks before money moves.
