Terms of Service
This document describes how to use the PolProcenta service: what happens at each step, what the service is responsible for and what remains with you.
Updated:
What the service does, and who carries out the transaction
PolProcenta arranges and supports the exchange: it shows the calculation before a request is created, accepts and checks the request, arranges the transaction with the direction's partner, and passes you the payment details for that request.
The transaction itself is carried out by a third-party partner: the partner provides the details, receives the funds and makes the payout. PolProcenta does not provide payment details of its own in this flow and does not hold client funds.
The service is not a bank, a payment system or a cryptocurrency exchange.
The calculation and locking the terms
- The final amount is visible before a request exists.
- Until it is confirmed, the calculation can change: it reflects the direction's current terms.
- Once confirmed, the terms are held for the limited time shown on screen.
- When that time has passed, current terms apply — the earlier ones no longer do.
The request
A created request receives a number. That number is how the transaction is found: an operator finds it by that number, and it is what you quote when you get in touch.
Creating a request is not a transfer of money. Nothing moves at that step: the payment details come from the partner, and a manager passes them to you once the request has been checked.
Do not send funds before you have received the details through PolProcenta's official channel. Details apply to one specific request.
If something goes wrong while a request is being carried out, you come to PolProcenta: we remain your point of contact and deal with the partner until the situation is resolved.
What remains with you
- Accurate request details and receiving details.
- Checking those details before a transfer — once money has been sent, a mistake cannot be undone.
- Using your own accounts and wallets.
- Complying with the law of your country regarding such transactions.
When an exchange may not go ahead
A request may not be carried out where a required check cannot be completed, where a direction is temporarily unavailable, or where the details given prove to be inaccurate. The grounds for checks are set out in the AML/KYC policy.
Risks
Exchanging digital assets and transferring between payment systems carry risks that do not depend on the service: rate movements, delays in networks and in the payment systems themselves, and mistakes in payment details. These are covered separately in the risk disclosure.
