AML/KYC Policy
This document sets out the principles by which PolProcenta checks customers and transactions. It explains the sequence of steps and the grounds for declining — without document checklists or threshold amounts, which depend on the individual request.
Updated:
What PolProcenta is, and is not
PolProcenta is an exchange service: it helps create a request and agree the terms for exchanging money between payment systems, cash and digital assets.
PolProcenta is not a bank, a payment system or a cryptocurrency exchange, and makes no claim to hold a licence or the status of a regulated virtual-asset service provider. Where a transaction passes through partners or payment systems, their rules apply as well.
How a check works
Checks run in sequence, and each step happens only when the one before it left a question open.
- Customer identification — confirming the account or wallet belongs to the person making the request.
- A further check where needed — when the circumstances call for clarification.
- Review of the transaction itself — whether it matches the ordinary shape of an exchange.
- A request for more information — where the earlier steps left questions.
- Declining to proceed — where a required check cannot be completed.
Most requests go no further than the first step. That is not a softening of the rule; it is a description of how it works.
What may be requested
What is needed depends on the transaction and the circumstances. The confirmations that come up most often are listed on the verification page, along with why no single mandatory checklist exists.
Grounds for declining
We may decline to proceed where a check cannot be completed: where requested information is not provided, where the information given contradicts itself, or where a transaction falls into a higher-risk category and an explanation does not resolve the question.
A refusal may apply to a particular request or a particular direction. It is not an accusation, and it does not mean we are asserting anything about where your money came from.
What is expected of the customer
- Give accurate request details — they are the details a transfer is made against.
- Use your own accounts and wallets, not someone else's.
- Do not use the service for transactions that break the law.
- Check the details before a transfer: once money has been sent, a wrong detail cannot be corrected.
